The Mission of Pregnancy Helpline of Janesville, Inc. is to be a life-affirming
voice; sharing accurate information and options while caring
for women and their families before, during and after pregnancy. |

HOW WE CARRY OUT OUR
MISSION
|
| |
|
The trained volunteers of Pregnancy Helpline assist clients by sharing
with them, and caring for them, in a full cycle approach through programs
and/or services which may include: pregnancy tests, pregnancy counseling,
education and support; referral and advocacy for community resources;
post-abortion recovery; adoption referral and support; material aid;
and abstinence education.

OUR COMMITMENT OF CARE

1. Clients coming to our center, and those who are counseled
by telephone, are served without regard to age, race, income, nationality,
religious affiliation, disability or other arbitrary circumstances.

2. Clients are treated with kindness, compassion and in
a caring manner.

3. Clients always receive honest and open answers.
|

4. Client pregnancy tests are distributed and administered
in accordance with all applicable laws.

5. Client information is held in strict and absolute confidence.
Client information is only disclosed as required by law and when
necessary to protect the client or others against imminent harm.

6. Clients receive accurate information about pregnancy,
fetal development, lifestyle issues and related concerns.

7. Our Pregnancy center does not offer, recommend or refer
for abortion or abortifacients, but is committed to offering accurate
information about current procedures and risks.

8. All advertising and communications by this center are
truthful and accurately describe the services offered by the center.

9. All staff and volunteers of this center receive proper
training to uphold these standards.
